The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
